Join fellow Bay Area Columbia alumni for the launch of the Columbia Alumni Book Club. Here's your chance to meet other alumni and discuss great books in a casual setting. All are welcome.
Our first book club selection is "The Inheritance of Loss" by Columbia alumna Kiran Desai. The book won the Man Booker Prize in 2006 and the National Book Critics Circle Fiction Award in 2007. Please come to the meeting having read the book, or having made a valiant attempt to do so.
We will meet at Lefty O'Doul's, a casual neighborhood restaurant/bar near Union Square. Look for the Columbia sign at the table in the rear. Beverages and/or food are available for purchase.
