Community Service - SF Food Bank

We had such a great time at our last project at the SF Food Bank, so we are doing it again!! Get to know other Columbia Alumni while helping out a great cause!
The event will take place on Sunday, Sept 19 from 9am - noon. PLEASE PLAN TO ARRIVE BY 9AM SHARP. Our group will probably plan to grab a bite after the project - all participants are encouraged to join us but this is not mandatory.
This event is limited to 15 people, and i...s open to CU alumni and family/friends. We regret that we cannot accommodate more people. ATTIRE:
· Closed-toe shoes are required at all volunteer projects. Anyone wearing sandals, flip-flops, or any other shoe with an open toe will not be able to participate in the project.
· Because you'll be helping to repack food, please wear casual and clean clothing, long pants, securely fastened jewelry, and comfortable (no open-toe) shoes. We suggest dressing in layers, as the temperature in the warehouse is often cool.
PARKING INFORMATION: Please utilize available free street parking in front of the building (4-hour time limit) so that the agency shoppers can use the parking lot to load their vehicles. The south parking lot by the loading dock is also available at this time.
WHERE TO REPORT: Please arrive by 9am, and enter the building through the Receiving Entrance on the south side of the building near the loading dock.
