Founded by Jane Leu, a Columbia University alum, Upwardly Global is a nonprofit organization that provides a range of services to skilled immigrants with the mission of helping them obtain employment. Upwardly Global is hosting a mock networking session in San Francisco on October 7 and are seeking volunteers to take part in a 3-hour workshop that simulates a real interview. After a brief training at the event, each volunteer wi...ll conduct practice interviews with 2 jobseekers. This event gives jobseekers a chance to practice their interviewing skills in a friendly environment and recieve candid, costructive feedback and it offers volunteers the opportunity to participate in a volunteer activity that has a direct impact on a group of interesting, vibrant immigrants representing many different countries around the globe. We are looking for 10-15 volunteers and hope you can join us for this exciting volunteer opportunity!
